Welcomed new Board member, Dr. Ernest Stone, State Superintendent of Education. Resolution from Director of State Agency for Social Security of State of Alabama covering faculty and staff by Social Security passed. Resolution authorizing President to prepare application, deeds, etc. pertaining to transfer of surplus property to University. Approved fraternities and sororities to be allowed to operate at University under close supervision of administration and faculty. President's report for year 1966. Formal announcement of College of Education with Dean Hadley. Preliminary plans toward an Institute for 麻豆直播 American Studies.
