Mr. Cleverdon and President were authorized to offer up to $1,000.00 an acre for the 50 acres of land south of Old Shell Road known as Stroup land.
Financial arrangements for classroom building and equipment amounting to $1,290,300.00 were discussed.
BE IT RESOLVED - President Whiddon is authorized to act for and on behalf of the Executive Committee as well as the Board of Trustees of the U. of S. A. with respect to all matters pertaining to the construction and financing of a classroom and laboratory building as designed by Bond & Bond Architects, the construction and financing of which was authorized in the sixth meeting of Board of Trustees of U. of S. A. on Wednesday, March 31, 1365.

Cost for cafeteria and bookstore should not exceed $150,000.000.

Bill of increasing membership of Board of Trustees from 12 to 15 members was on the calendar in the senate at this time.
Advantages of 2,300 acres of land and the physical facilities located at Brookley Air Force Base.
New salary ranges for faculty were approved to begin September 1, 1965.
Tuition
is to be
increased to $100.00
per quarter beginning
September 1, 1966
and
out of state tuition be raised to $150.00 per quarter.
University is now a "correspondent" in connection with being accredited and will be billed $150.00 for annual fee.
President's salary be increased to $22,500.00 per year, effective October 1, 1965.
Dormitory rates higher.
Dr. Whiddon given authority to sign Civil Rights document if it met his approval.
