Dr. Urvashi Jain
Dr. Urvashi Jain is an Assistant Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics, Finance, and Real Estate at the Mitchell College of Business, University of Â鶹ֱ²¥ Alabama. She is an applied microeconomist, with research interests in the economics of aging, health economics, and development economics.
Dr. Jain received her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Â鶹ֱ²¥ern California. She was born and raised in New Delhi, India. She earned her M.S. in Quantitative Economics from Indian Statistical Institute, Delhi, and a B.A. in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi.
