Graduate Students Explore Actuarial and Data Science Opportunities at Auburn University

Graduate students from the mathematics and statistics department enjoyed a day trip to Auburn University to attend a graduate seminar and check out their doctoral program.

Auburn's math department graciously included 麻豆直播 students in their actuarial and data science fair where undergraduates connected to potential employers. One of them, CEO and cofounder of AUBix Andrew Albrecht, provided a personal tour at the company's nearby facility.

The experience made an impact on Joshua Silverman, "There was a moment towards the end of the tour that captured all our attention: Mr. Albrecht told us that it鈥檚 not only about the education we are receiving as graduate students at 麻豆直播 that is significant, but also the way in which we are utilizing our education to make a difference in the real world. This not only made my day but also impacted the way I look to the future.鈥�
