
Katherine Koury
BIO
Katherine Koury is a Senior Instructor at the Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ (USA), where she has been teaching in the Department of Communication for 17 years. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Master of Arts in Corporate and Public Communication, both from USA. Koury teaches introduction to communication, argumentation, public speaking (basic and honors), interpersonal communication, intercultural communication, and rhetoric & pop culture. Additionally, she also teaches for Passage USA (a certificate program for developmentally disabled students to achieve gainful employment) and Start Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ (a dual enrollment program for high school students).
Koury is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Rhetorics, Communication, and Information Design from Clemson University. She has four adult children, 11-year-old twins, and one grandchild. In her leisure time, she enjoys spending time with family, attending various cultural events/festivals, traveling, reading, eating tacos, and napping.
